Ingredients
Pita bread
Tomato paste
Tomatoes
Bocconcini
Ham
Basil leaves
Method
1 – Turn the oven onto 180 C.
2 – Line 2 oven trays with baking paper.
3 – Place the Pita breads on the prepared trays.
4 – Spread half the tomato paste evenly on each, leaving a 1 cm border around the rim.
5 – Arrange the tomatoes and bocconcini over the bases, then top with ham and season.
6 – Bake for 10-15 minutes or until base is crispy and cheese is melted.
7 – Top with fresh basil leaves and serve.
